SERVING INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES LIVING WITH MENTAL HEALTH NEEDS IN MIDDLESEX COUNTY SINCE 1968
That is why we dedicate our energy and our resources to provide high quality services to help people who experience mental health conditions to build trusting relationships, improve their quality of life and perhaps most importantly, regain hope that had been lost.
Throughout the year Gilead raises funds in numerous ways. All of these dollars are used to improve the lives of the individuals we serve. Gilead is committed to putting 15% of every dollar raised into our Agency Endowment to ensure the future of quality mental health services for individuals receiving services from Gilead.
Through your generosity Gilead raised $50,000 in May during our annual Matching Campaign, held in May during Mental Health Awareness Month. Donors and a group of stakeholders who stepped forward to offer a $25,000 match made this successful campaign possible. The funds raised during this campaign provided funding for:
Quizine For a Cause
The $124,000 you donated to Gilead’s 2015 Quizine event this year was put to good use, allowing us to provide the kind of essentials many of us take for granted. More specifically, your donations bought the basics and provided security, belonging, safety, and simple pleasures to clients. The funds raised during this campaign provided funding for:
Emergency housing, food, mattresses, furniture, transportation, medication, washers, refrigerators, dryers, break dance classes, art supplies, summer programming, school supplies, clothing stipends, holiday gift for each client valued at ($10 each), fans for clients with heat related medical issues, state park passes, fishing supplies, educational speakers, and many more things that improve the lives and build the futures of the individuals served by Gilead Community Services, Inc.
