SERVING INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES LIVING WITH MENTAL HEALTH NEEDS IN MIDDLESEX COUNTY SINCE 1968
Our supported apartment programs foster recovery and independent living for adults living in group homes and apartments. Clients live in their own apartments, located near a staff office.
Intensive Services
We provide 24-hour intensive case management and clinical services to help adults face new challenges. The Shoreline Community Apartment Program (SCAP) and the Gilead Apartment Program (GAP) have office space in the same buildings where the apartments and group homes are located. Intensive case management services are provided. Examples include: assistance with maintaining the apartment; talking to your landlord; grocery shopping; cooking; laundry; and making and attending medical appointments.

Gender –based Programming
A gender-based program recognizes the unique experience of both men and women. By implementing a gender-based program model, we provide a safe and supportive environment for women who have survived traumatic events. Clients are prepared for independent living with skills training and the use of natural supports.
Community Activities
Clients have been introduced to new and exciting activities in the community, from go-karting, rope courses, sightseeing trips, hiking in Connecticut’s beautiful state parks, gardening, walking, and much, much more!
